The Practice
The name Gymnasium is derived from the Ancient Greek gymnasion, rooted in gymnos, meaning “unclothed.” Beyond its literal meaning, it reflects an interest in the body in its most direct form—movement, discipline, and presentation.
There is a discipline to movement.
And there is a discipline to how we present ourselves.
Founded by designer and creative director Andrew Harmon, Gymnasium was built around an ongoing interest in the culture of the body, visual identity, and masculine presentation—approaching clothing not simply as fashion, but as part of how we construct presence and move through the world.
Positioned not as performance wear, but as a modern sportswear uniform, Gymnasium exists between training and everyday life—shaped by routine, movement, and presentation.
